Mabi Hotel Centrum used to be a cinema. The Maastricht Cinema, abbreviated MaBi. The story goes that the Catholic bishop used to censor the films and cut out essential scenes. The result? A fragmented and illogical whole, which only created a topic of discussion about the missing pieces. It is exactly that twisted element that has become the basic ingredient for the hotel. You may spend the night in a (partly) black room, or there is a 'censored drink' on the menu of Bar Twisted. Here you can and can let your imagination run wild, a nod to censored scenes from the past.
