In the surrounding woods you can find mushrooms and berries in season, and in the meadows you can watch deer and elk. Take a trip to Lake Anten, which is great for swimming and fishing, where you will also find a nature park with a playground, restaurant and a castle ruin with a long history. Visit one of the many cosy cafés in Alingsås with good coffee and pastries.
