At the Galmés i Ribot wine shop in Santa Margalida, you'll find quaffable drinks and fresh local produce. A few minutes' drive along the occasionally audible Ma-3410 will take you to the bustling coastal town of Can Picafort with its harbour, extra-large sandy beach and promenade. If you drive towards Port dAlcúdia, you will come across 25 kilometres of continuous beach. Playa de Muro, with its white dunes and located right in front of the Albufera Natural Park, is the most beautiful seaside resort on the island. And even if you are in a completely different mood, you should make your way to Son Serra de Marina and don't miss the necropolis of Son Real, a unique Talayotic tomb from the time before Christ.

In a rural and quiet location between Santa Margalida and Can Picafort, you will find the villa of the Caragol family, nestled between palm trees: tranquillity on one side and lively tourism on the other. Supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants and clubs are therefore in the immediate vicinity. The nearest beaches are only about five minutes away by car: the small Son Baulo or the bay of Alcúdia. Pollença, 25 km away, with its harbour, beach and water park for children, offers culture, art and a picturesque promenade.
